Event |“Challenges in Biomedical Engineering – Journey from Research to Innovation” Exhibition at MU-NCKU Activity Hub

On November 9, 2022, Mahidol University Faculty of Dentistry, in collaboration with National Cheng Kung University (NCKU), Taiwan, organized the “Challenges in Biomedical Engineering – Journey from Research to Innovation” exhibition.

Prof. Dr. Waranun Buajeeb, Dean’s Advisor and Director of NCKU Overseas Hub in Thailand, reported the previous cooperation to establish the MU-NCKU Joint Research Center, and the exchange between the two institutions in order to increase research capability, as well as the innovation. She also reported the history of the research center and the purpose of this exhibition.

The opening remarks were delivered by Prof. Dr. Banchong Mahaisavariya, President of Mahidol University. On this occasion, Clin. Prof. Dr. Sirichai Kiattavorncharoen, Dean of Mahidol University Faculty of Dentistry, along with the faculty executive, and students, also participated in the exhibition.

The exhibition aimed to provide the participants with the opportunity to share and exchange their knowledge in biomedical engineering and encourage them to translate their research ideas into innovation. It took place at the MU-NCKU Hub (Joint Research Center) in the multipurpose area on the first floor of the 50th Anniversary of H.R.H. Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn Building.
