Webinar | “Neuromodulation: Insights from Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation”
On May 28, 2026, the Taiwan-Thailand Smart Health Technology Center (TTSTC) successfully hosted an insightful and highly engaging webinar titled “Neuromodulation: Insights from Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation.”

The webinar featured a keynote presentation by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Jarugool Tretriluxana, the esteemed Dean of the Faculty of Physical Therapy at Mahidol University, Thailand. The session was expertly moderated by Chair Prof. Fong-Chin Su from National Cheng Kung University (NCKU), Taiwan, fostering a dynamic dialogue between the speaker and the global audience.
During the session, Dr. Jarugool shared groundbreaking insights into neuromodulation—the alteration of nerve activity through the targeted delivery of a stimulus. Specifically, she highlighted the clinical application of Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation (TMS), a non-invasive procedure that uses magnetic fields to stimulate nerve cells in the brain.

A key focus of the webinar was the powerful integration of TMS with specialized physical therapy training. Dr. Jarugool demonstrated how combining these two modalities can significantly optimize recovery outcomes for patients undergoing rehabilitation for neurological conditions, marking a major step forward for modern healthcare practices.
