Upcoming Event│ “Discover Grad Nursing Programs with NCKU Alumni and Current Students”
On October 29, the Taiwan-Thailand Science and Technology Center (TTSTC) and the NCKU Overseas Hub in Thailand jointly organized a nursing research exchange webinar with the Department of Nursing at National Cheng Kung University (NCKU) and the Faculty of Nursing at Mahidol University. The event featured presentations by Prof. Yu-Yun Hsu from the Department of Nursing at NCKU and Assistant Lecturer Chanisara Chuenchomnoy from Mahidol University. The seminar was moderated by Waranun Buajeeb, Director of TTSTC Thailand Center and NCKU Overseas Hub in Thailand.
The event attracted enthusiastic participation from students, faculty members, and clinical nursing professionals from several nursing schools across Thailand. In addition to academic and research experience sharing, the seminar facilitated in-depth discussions on topics such as international research collaboration, graduate program applications, and academic resources.
During the webinar, it was mentioned that NCKU's international collaboration in nursing research highlighted the university's research resources and opportunities for cross-border academic exchange. Mahidol University also shared its strengths in integrating nursing education with clinical practice, emphasizing that international collaboration broadens students' research perspectives and fosters multidimensional academic development.
This seminar successfully strengthened academic exchange between Taiwan and Thailand, deepened collaboration in nursing research, and paved the way for future international academic and talent exchange initiatives.
