Academic visit │ Mae Fah Luang University, Chiang Rai visted NCKU for collaboration with Department of Chemistry

On April 8, 2025, a delegation from the School of Science at Mae Fah Luang University (MFU), led by Assistant Professor Dr. Kanchana Watlaaid, Vice Dean of the School of Science, visited National Cheng Kung University (NCKU) to explore opportunities for academic collaboration with the Department of Chemistry, NCKU.

This visit builds upon the initial engagement between the two institutions that occurred in November 2024, when the TTSTC team from NCKU visited Chiang Rai, Thailand, to establish the initial communication.

The April 2025 visit represents a significant advancement in the development of bilateral academic relationships between the Department of Chemistry in both universities. During this meeting, representatives from both institutions discussed essential areas of cooperation, including talent exchange programs, internship opportunities, and collaborative research initiatives. The goal was to formulate a long-term partnership framework that would be mutually beneficial for students and researchers at both MFU and NCKU.

The MFU delegation consisted of the following members:

- Associate Professor Dr. Orawan Suwantong
- Dr. Patcharanan Choto
- Associate Professor Dr. Patcharee Pripdeevech

This exchange provided a valuable platform for academic discourse and established a solid foundation for future joint initiatives between Mae Fah Luang University and National Cheng Kung University.
