Academic visit │ NCKU Chemical Engineering Delegation visit Mahidol University to discuss Dual Master Degree
On January 9, 2025, the College of Engineering, National Cheng Kung University (NCKU), represented by Professor Dr. Chien-Hsiang Chang and Professor Dr. Mei-Jywan Syu, engaged in a collaborative meeting with the Faculty of Engineering, Mahidol University. Leading the Mahidol delegation was Associate Professor Dr. Thanapat Wanichanon, Dean of the Faculty of Engineering, accompanied by Assistant Professor Dr. Wanida Koo-amornpattana, Head of the Department of Chemical Engineering, and faculty members from the Department of Chemical Engineering.

During the discussion, both institutions reached an agreement to establish a Dual Master’s Degree Program, aiming to enhance student exchange and promote internationally recognized research. Students participating in this program will complete their first year at their home institution and the second year at the partner institution, ultimately earning degrees from both universities upon fulfilling the program requirements.
This collaboration reflects NCKU’s dedication to fostering academic excellence and global engagement in engineering education and research. By working closely with Mahidol University, NCKU continues to expand opportunities for students and researchers, strengthening its role as a leader in international engineering education.
